he retold dying at the Chicago Marathon in the last
six miles, I was dying in the trails. Almost felt like
I was in Chicago - except Tall Scott wasn't there at the
finish to ask why I didn't kick.
3.5 on Saturday at Tanglewood with Espo.
1.0 mile at Reynolda Gardens on Sunday - sprained ankle on root,
limped and cussed back to the car. Hurting pretty bad.

Sunday - 10 steady in the Gardens. Felt good until one hour.

Wednesday - 1 easy, 1.5 in 8:23 on the track, 1/2 easy. Felt
awkward to be on the track.
Thursday - 5 steady at Bethabara felt good.
Friday - 10 at 6:30 pace with Kevin and Patrick. Last few
miles in 6:10-6:15 range.
Sunday - 10 at 6:30 pace at Salem Lake. Lap in 46:20, last
mile in 6:11. Felt better. Right knee hurting.

Sunday - off due to lower back strain from basketball. Not
a big deal but didn't want to risk it.

Tuesday - 10 at 6:30 pace in the morning with Kevin and Patrick.
Felt good.
Wednesday - 5.5 at lunch 6:20-6:30 pace with Fry Daddy. Tired.
Friday - 10 with Kevin and Patrick. Stopped at Hanes Park
during run and ran 16:43 for 3 miles on the track (5:37,5:34,5:32) with
rest of run at 6:20 pace. Calves very sore at the end of the run.
Sunday - 7 easy at Salem Lake with Vince and Tommy Boles.
Right knee pain
and sore calves.

Friday - 10.5 miles tonight with Kevin, Patrick and Julie Smith.
