calf, had to stop and stretch a few times.

Monday - 1 easy, calf still hurting.
Tuesday - 2 easy, calf still hurting.
Wed. - Friday - off, calf
Saturday - 2 easy, calf better.
Sunday - 3 steady, calf better but I still feel it.

Mon. 4 steady in Reynolda Gardens - calf still tight and sore but
getting better.
Tues. 5 steady with Fry Daddy. No calf pain, but still a little
tight. Sub-6:00 pace at the end.
Weds. - 5.5 steady with Fry Daddy - very fast last mile.
Thurs - 6.5 easy with Kurt, legs sore and tired.
Friday - 7 steady, felt decent, new shoes.
Saturday - 1.5 WU, 3 mile tempo in Wake trails - 16:45, 1.5 WD.
Not as easy as expected, but trails soft and muddy in spots.
Sunday - ran 6 easy in the snow, starting slipping so I called it
a day.

Monday - off ice and snow
Tuesday - 3.5 in spikes at the ParCourse - very choppy

Friday - 4.5 steady with Kurt
Saturday - 4 miles fast, legs tired from playing basketball.

Monday - 5 steady at night, felt good.
Tuesday - 2.5 WU, 1.5 WD 3 mile tempo on Bethabara bike trail -
16:05 (5:27,5:22,5:16). Knee bothering me but wasn't hurting until
the last 1/2 mile.
Wednesday - 10 at 6:30 pace from home. Legs tired.
Thursday - off, travel
Friday - 4 hard in Charleston.
Saturday - 3.5 easy in Charleston, very early.
Sunday - 12.5 easy at Salem Lake with Vinnie, felt good.
Week 7
Monday - 8 steady with Garrick and Kurt, felt good.
Tues. 1.5 WU, 2 mile tempo on YMCA course (5:30, 11:00), 2.5
WD. Felt like crap so I stopped. Legs very tired.
Wednesday - 4.5 easy with Kurt, 3 sprints in the last mile, felt
better.
Thursday - 10 at 6:10 pace, felt strong, legs a little tired.
Friday - 4.5 easy with Kurt, legs tired.
Sat. 2 WU, 1.75 WD, 3 miles on the track in 16:03 with Dave and
Patick, 1/2 mile easy, 3 * 400 (77,75,70) pacing those guys. 8 miles
total.
Sun - 10 easy at Salem Lake. Felt very tired. Biggest
week in three years.
Week 8
Monday 3 easy, legs still very tired.
Tuesday - 1.5 WU, 2.5 WD. 4 mile tempo on YMCA course at 5:40
pace. Felt sluggish in
the beginning but starting feeling better at the end.
Weds. - 6 easy with Kurt. Sprained foot/ankle pretty bad in
the first 400 - kept
going and it eventually loosened up, but very tight and painful
at night.
Thursday - 4.5 easy with Kurt, ankle still hurting.
Friday - 3 easy, legs tired.
Saturday - 1.5 WU, 1 WD, 5 mile leg in Myrtle Beach Marathon relay.

Did not feel great.
Sunday - 10 at 6:30-6:40 pace at Salem Lake. Legs sore and
tired. Right

Saturday - A.M. 2 easy P.M. 1 WU, 1 WD 3 miles with 9 hill sprints
thrown in, felt off.
Sunday - 12 steady with Phillips, felt good.

Friday - 6 miles on hilly loop in 36:14 (18:33/17:41). Hot,
didn't feel good.

Sunday - 10 in 63 at Salem Lake. 5:45 last mile on Greenway
- didn't feel great, left quad, right ankle hurting.

Monday - 3 steady with sprints thrown in.
Tuesday - 7.5 very solid with a couple of 5:20-5:30 miles thrown
in.
Wednesday - 6 steady, ran a 5:25 mile in the middle to get my legs
moving.
Thursday - 3.5 easy with some strides, felt good.
Friday - 2.5 easy
Saturday - 1.5 WU, 2.5 WD Gate River 15K in 52:10, knee pain, went
out a little fast, but good race.

good except for right knee pain.
Wednesday - 4 steady, felt good.
