Born 6/17/72 and raised in Winston-Salem, NC.
Went to Mount Tabor High School where he graduated in 1990.
Went on to run at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.
Kyle won several ACC titles in track and was All ACC in Cross Country
twice. Currently holds several Pantheon records.

get back to Village Outdoor, then Water Fountain,
then a minute more. Body must like the previous day's tempo
run.
Wed- 9.5 miles on roads around Buena Vista, YMCA, Reynolda Gardens,
etc.
Thurs- 2 w/p, stretching, strides, 4 x 1200 at Muddy Creek Greenway
with 3:30 jog(600 meters) recovery between
each interval (4:09, 4:10, 4:09, 4:13). 2 w/d....8 miles total
Wanted to do 5 intervals but felt dead. Wonder if 1)
Tempo run on Sunday was too long given current mileage
2) Max VO2 workout is too tough after longer tempo run. Legs
felt tired.
Fri- 7 miles from home. Easy run. Felt tired but not

back to Village Outdoor, Water Fountain, and then another 25 seconds
Tuesday- 7 easy at Reynolda Gardens/Graylyn. Was able to get
back to Village Outdoor.
Wednesday- 9 easy at Salem Lake. 7:30 pace. Felt tired.
Thursday- 2.5 w/p to Shaffner Park/Silas Creek Greenway...stretching,
strides....8 x 200 hill (Burkewood) with 200 jog down...1/2 jog then
4 x 2:45 (approx. 800 meters) with 2:30 jog (approx. 400 meters)
between each....2 w/d.....10.5 total....Felt pretty good.
Friday- 4.5 easy at Reynolda Gardens. Inside of right hip
is sore.
Sunday -12 miles at Reynolda Gardens/Wake with 30 minute tempo run
in the middle. Within the tempo run ran 9:07, 9:06, and 9:05 for
three
loops in the trails. 28 seconds faster(total) for these loops
than 4 weeks ago. Felt pretty good. Quads felt a little sore
from standing up all
day yesterday at the XC Championships. 20 minutes easy(including
3 strides), 30 minute tempo run, 40 minutes easy...Probably more than
12 but that's how I will count it.

back to Village Outdoor, Water Fountain, and then another 45 seconds.
Tuesday- 7 easy (52:30) on treadmill at the Y
Wednesday- 8 with Betsy at about 7:18 pace from the house.
Terrible weather outside.
Thursday- 9:00 workout at night on the treadmill at the Y.
2 w/p, stretching, strides, then 2 miles in 11:47, 2 minute jog, 1 mile
5:55, 2 mile w/d.
Felt a little lethargic. Not used to running hard on the treadmill.
10.2 mph for workout......7 total..........Ending up waking up at 5:00
a.m. with
diarrhea and then threw up at 6:00 the next morning.
Saturday- 7 easy at Reynolda Gardens/Graylyn. Made it back
to Village Outdoor.
Sunday- 14 moderate with Longhurst. Loop in trails, YMCA loop,
Loop in trails...1:41 total. Most miles between 7:05 and 7:10.

Saturday- 10 miles at Salem Lake with 5 miles tempo in the middle...strides
during 2nd mile (7:44, 7:10, 6:21, 6:16, 6:18, 6:03,
6:01, 7:03, 6:50, 7:01)...1:06.51. Legs felt good. Throat
is a little sore. Need to watch that.
