Kyle
Born 6/17/72 and raised in Winston-Salem, NC.
Went to Mount Tabor High School where he graduated in 1990.
Went on to run at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.
Kyle won several ACC titles in track and was All ACC in Cross Country twice. Currently holds several Pantheon records.

Accolades include:
Division I All-American at 10,000 (1995)
ACC Champion at 5,000 and 10,000 meters (1995 outdoor meet held at WFU)
ACC Champion at 5,000 meters at ACC Indoor meet in 1995.
Two-time all ACC in Cross Country
Participated in three NCAA Cross Country Championship meets while at WFU
Member of two ACC championship teams while at WFU
Member of US Junior team that participated in the 1991 World Cross Country meet in Antwerp, Belgium

Jan. 1 - 4 miles

Monday- 45 minutes including 6 x 1 min. surges with 3 min. jog between each
Tuesday- Weights
Wednesday- 40 minute run
Saturday- Salem Lake 50k Relay (12.5k each).....ran 2nd leg (back from Greenway near WSSU and reverse way around the Lake....
6:25 pace for about 7.8 miles (splits from 7 mile mark back to normal "start"...6:27, 6:19, 6:20, 6:26, 6:27, 6:32, 6:32....49:53 overall)......felt o.k.
Sunday- 45 min. easy run

Week 3
Monday- 41 min. easy
Tues- Weights
Wed- 47 min. with Nate Ayers
Friday- 50 min. including 7 x 1 min. surges with 3 min. jog between each
Sat- Weights, 45 min. run
Sun- 1 hour, 20 min. run        35 miles for the week

Week 4
Monday- 51 minute run easy
Tuesday- Weights
Wednesday- 50 minute run including interval session in trails at Wake (1 min. hard, 1 min. easy, 2 min. hard, 2 min. easy,
3 min. hard, 3 min. easy, 4 min. hard, 4 min. easy, 3 min. hard, 3 min. easy, 2 min. hard, 2 min. easy, 1 min. hard)
   ran a little faster than current 5k race pace......laps of 9:30, 10:17, 9:40 during session.
Thursday- Weights
Friday- 55 min. run easy
Sat- 50 min. run easy
Sunday- 12 mile run with John Anderson starting at Central Y......Jogged out to Reynolda Gardens water fountain, then ran
2 3/4 miles uptempo around Wake and back to water fountain (6:47, 6:30, 6:10 pace for last 3/4).....jogged
3/4 mile and ran last 5k of Mistletoe Course pretty quick   (6:02, 6:04, 6:23, 19:10 for 5k) 1.5 jog at the end........
Pace and breathing felt pretty easy.....legs felt tired from the week and distance of the run......Anderson ran about 6:00 pace.

Tuesday- Weights
Wednesday- 55 minutes run
Thursday- 2 w/p, stretching, strides......10 x 200 hill with jog back down (Burkeshore) then 3 x 1:20 hard with 4 min. jog  on Silas Creek Greenway
1 w/d......7 total
Saturday- 51 minute run
Sunday- 1:35 run with Espo (probably 12) , Weights in the afternoon
40 miles total

Week 6
Monday- 52 minute run
Wednesday- 2 w/p including strides, 4 x 1 mile with 1 min. rest (6:33, 6:27, 6:26, 6:27) 1 w/d.....7 total
Thursday- 7 mile run, Weights
Friday- 55 minute run
Saturday- Weights
Sunday- 12 mile run including 6 miles uptempo in the middle on the Muddy Creek Greenway (6:42, 6:43, 6:42, 6:45, 6:42, 6:39)

Tuesday- Weights
Thurs- 2 w/p with strides then tempo run in trails at Wake  (2 loops.....8:58, 8:54)  Felt o.k. 2 w/d......7 total

Sunday- 12 miles with John Anderson and Alan Marion.....Very cold
40 miles for the week.

Tuesday- Weights
Wed- 3 w/p, then 10 x 200 with 200 jog (avg. 36.97) 1.5 w/d
Thurday-7 miles easy, Weights
Sunday- 10 miles easy.
24 miles total.  Needed to recharge the body.
